Dilworth IP Welcomes Michael Kinney and Robert Crawford from MKG to the Team

The Dilworth IP team is growing! We are excited to announce that Michael K. Kinney of MKG, LLC has decided to join his practice to Dilworth IP as Partner. Mike will be joined by Robert D. Crawford, also of MKG, as Senior Associate. Together, they bring decades of experience serving their clients in a diversity of intellectual property matters, helping companies meet their IP goals across the innovation business spectrum in industries ranging from semiconductor manufacturing to energy, medical, and defense.

About Michael K. Kinney
Michael K. Kinney brings extensive experience counseling domestic and foreign clients on IP procurement, portfolio acquisitions and maintenance, and licensing and enforcement in a variety of technologies. Mike has extensive computer hardware and software experience including a computer science and engineering educational background, and eleven years in industry as a programmer of engineering, production control, and manufacturing systems. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Connecticut; and a Juris Doctorate from Quinnipiac University School of Law. As managing partner of MKG, LLC, Mike has been proud to lead his team of attorneys and legal professionals in fulfillment of his clients’ IP goals and objectives.
About Robert D. Crawford II
Robert D. Crawford II offers his diverse experience in intellectual property to the team at Dilworth IP. With extensive background in a variety of technologies associated with the energy sector, telecommunications, and consumer electronics, Bob brings his expertise to a variety of IP matters including strategic worldwide portfolio development and management; domestic and international prosecution; and due diligence in support of M&A activity and litigation. Additionally, Bob worked for six years with GE’s military defense division as a controls design engineer, leading a team in the development of a testing and troubleshooting system of shipboard weapon systems. As a former in-house attorney, Bob understands well the pressures and demands that his clients face. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University; and a Juris Doctorate from Western New England School of Law.
